Theme: "Joy" (Romans 15:13)
Sometimes, it can be difficult for us to find our joy and hope in The God Of The Bible... In Romans 15:13, Paul prays that The God Of The Bible may be the source of joy and peace for all believers in Christ Jesus. It is our prayer that this retreat would be used by God to assure you of your salvation and strengthen your faith in God, who is our greatest hope and source of all joy. When: Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30
Where: Youth will stay at the "Adventure Camp" part of Shocco Springs. All youth will be rooming in cabins (with bunk beds) with other students and counselors. Shocco Springs Adventure Camp 1314 Shocco Springs Rd, Talladega, AL 35160 Departure from ATL: Buses depart from ACCCN (5055 E Morton Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30022) on June 28. Check-in at ACCCN is at 1:00pm. Buses return to ACCCN on June 30 around 10:00pm. What: Come and join brothers and sisters in Christ for an incredible time of encountering the Lord, fellowship, prayer, intimacy and growth! In addition, the retreat features a variety of fun activities such as organized sports and games. Packing List:

Our Speaker
John Thompson
John grew up in Powder Springs, GA and before entering vocational ministry spent nearly 12 years in the U.S. Army. John is a combat-wounded veteran and Purple Heart recipient whose service took him all over the U.S., as well the Middle East and South Korea. Before answering a call to plant a multi-ethnic church in Atlanta, John served as a College and Student Pastor, and Adjunct Professor at Belhaven University. John is married to Abi, and together they have 3 children, Emma, Grace, and Micah.
